I’m Sari, post doc in Forest ecology and management at the University of Helsinki. My doctoral thesis focused on the population limitation of boreal ducks and ecosystem engineering by the beaver. In my postdoctoral studies I will enlarge the scale of duck population studies to cover not only boreal breeding areas, but entire flyway. I have started my own project “Towards flyway-level adaptive duck management in Europe” in July 2016. The beginning is funded by Haavikko-foundation and years 2017-2018 are funded by Maj and Tor Nessling Foundation.
